We believe in the vitality in addressing the root of the problem — not just treating its symptoms. Foster youth deserve systemic stability, not just individual support when things fall apart.
WHY SYSTEMATIC CHANGE MATTERS
We can’t keep trying to fix bullet holes with bandaids.
The Continuity Fund and the Life Passport are meaningful tools — but they are not the finish line. For every child we support through a difficult transition, there are hundreds more facing the same instability because the system itself hasn't changed.
We believe that true progress means going upstream. It means advocating for policies, funding, and structural reforms that minimize the unpredictable instability foster youth face in the first place — so that the next generation of children in care inherits a system that actually protects them.
Every child who enters foster care deserves a system built for their stability — not one they have to survive.

HOW WE ARE APPROACHING ADVOCACY
Two tracks. One goal.
Systemic change happens both from the top down and the bottom up. We pursue both — pushing for policy reform at the institutional level while empowering communities to take action right now.
Legislative Work
We advocate for the legislative reforms and federal support that the foster youth system and organizations need to grow, improve, and meaningfully reach every child. Lasting change requires both better systems and the resources to build them.
Grassroots Initiatives
Lasting change starts with grassroots support — and that means you. We need advocates like you to shine a light on the foster care experience and show up directly for the youth at the center of it. By providing educational resources and meaningful opportunities to serve, we hope to inspire change from the ground up, one community at a time.
Foster Youth Voices At The Center
We believe in the power of lived experience — and we know that foster youth are among the most credible, insightful advocates for change in this space. We are committed to giving foster youth the room and support to share their stories and be heard by the people and institutions that shape their lives — with their full consent and always on their own terms. Every program we build is shaped by foster youth experiences, stories, and input. We ask, we listen, we build, and we adjust.

We are not interested in working in silos, we intend to lift the whole ecosystem.
Our non-profit is not here to reinvent the wheel. There are remarkable organizations that have been doing this work for decades — and we believe in amplifying their impact, expanding their reach, and standing alongside them. Rather than compete with these organizations, we built our organization to complement others. Because together, we are stronger and more impactful.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
We're a young organization still formalizing our advocacy infrastructure — but these are the campaigns and causes on our agenda. We'll update this section as our work develops.

We aim to push for increased federal and state funding for foster youth programs so that every child in the foster care system has access to consistent support. In 2025, we saw federal government reductions for several critical foster youth-centered organizations. Reductions like these reduce resources and support for foster youth, leading to unrelenting and compounding instability.

Placement changes are sometimes unavoidable — but the harm they cause often isn't. We advocate for laws that require child welfare agencies to follow child-centered, developmentally informed transition plans before any move: accounting for emotional readiness, relationship preservation, and continuity of care and education. No child should be uprooted without preparation, without a plan, and without a voice in the process.

A community awareness campaign designed to help the general public understand what foster youth experience — and make it easy for everyday people to take meaningful action in their own communities. The gap between sympathy and understanding is where public education lives. Through educational resources, we are able to empower advocates like you to show up for one of our most vulnerable communities: our youth.

Foster youth should never have to leave a placement without their photos, their keepsakes, and other essentials. We believe protecting a child's belongings during transitions is an act of dignity, not a logistical afterthought. Through community education, agency-level advocacy, and tools like the Life Passport, we work to ensure that every foster youth's personal belongings — and the identity they represent — are treated with the care and intention they deserve.
