LAUNCHING SOON!

Extra support just for you.

It may feel like there is so much constant change happening in your life. But a change in housing should not mean losing core aspects of what makes you you. The Continuity Fund is coming to ensure it doesn’t.

WHAT CAN THE FUND COVER

The Continuity Fund is designed to step in when a move puts something important at risk. Below are non-exhaustive examples of when our fund could be helpful.

Pictures & Keepsakes
Everyone should be able to look back at their history, their memories, their childhood. It is critical for our sense of stability, identity, and belonging. This fund may cover the cost of school pictures, prints, and small memory keepsakes that can help fill your Life Passport.

i.e. school picture packages, photo printing, life passport or photo album

Therapist
Finding a therapist you trust is hard. Losing them when you move is harder. We help offset the complications a move can cause, so you can maintain access to the therapist you've already built a trusting relationship with.

e.g. therapy session costs, telehealth access, transportation to sessions

Extracurriculars
A interest, a club, a team — these are important outlets that contribute to our sense of belonging. When a new placement can't cover the costs, we make sure you don't have to walk away from something that matters to you.

e.g. registration or membership fees, equipment and uniforms, class fees

WHO CAN SUBMIT A REQUEST

Foster Youth
If you're currently in foster care and facing a transition that's putting something important at risk, you can apply directly or ask a trusted adult to help you submit a request.

Foster Caregiver
If you're caring for a foster youth and a placement change is threatening their continuity, you can submit a request on their behalf.

Caseworker or Advocate
If you work with or know of a foster youth that could benefit from our fund, we'd love to hear from you. You can submit a request on behalf of a youth in your care.

HOW IT WORKS

We've designed the process to be as easy and low-barrier as possible. No lengthy applications, no waiting months for an answer. Just a simple request and a team that genuinely wants to help.

1

Submit

Tell us what you need.

Fill out a short, simple request form. You'll tell us a little about the situation, what's at risk, how the fund can help, and who we should pay funds to. No formal documents required. Please keep in mind that we do not give funds to individuals, but rather pay for fees directly to relevant organizations/companies on behalf of the youth.

2

Review

We review your request — quickly.

Our team reviews every request with care. We understand urgency matters, so we aim to respond within a few business days. We may follow up with a question or two, but we will always reach out with care and kindness.

3

Respond

We let you know what we can do.

We will get back regarding your request and offer support — whether that's covering a cost directly (completely or partially), connecting you to a resource, or finding another way to help.

That's it. No complicated follow-up, no strings attached. We help you retain your community, your extracurricular activities, your memories — the things that make you feel like yourself, wherever you go.
