WHAT IS THE CONTINUITY FUND?
A fund built to soothe the turbulence that foster youth are subjected to during placement changes.
When a foster youth is moved to a new placement, they experience more than an address change. Their routines, support systems, financial resources, and more are upended. The Continuity Fund helps during these periods — providing urgent, targeted support so that a move doesn't have to mean starting over from scratch.
WHAT CAN MY DONATION DO?
Here are some examples of how your donation can meaningfully impact a foster youth’s life during placements.
Every child deserves tangible proof that their childhood happened, but lack of funds and constant moves make it difficult for foster youth to obtain and retain pictures and keepsakes. Your donation can help subsidize real memories.
Finding the right therapist is hard. Losing one you've learned to trust is even harder. Placement changes can put these relationships at risk. Your donation can ensure a foster youth does not have to start over with a stranger at a vulnerable time.
A sport, a club, an organization — these aren't just extracurriculars. They're where kids build identity, friendship, and a sense of belonging. Your donation can ensure a child doesn't have to walk away from their communities and hobbies.

“I grew up in foster care for most of my youth. I never really understood the importance of having childhood pictures, until I grew up and saw my peers’. All of their important moments and achievements: captured. I seemingly had nothing important enough to capture. Today, my childhood lives solely in my memory — fragile, fading, and entirely mine to keep alive.
The Continuity Fund exists so that the next generation of foster youth doesn't have to carry the same gaps. Their stories deserve to be safeguarded. Their sense of belonging shouldn't depend on which home they happen to be in. They deserve to have consistency and stability.”
